Destination Stars Hollow was a dream created in 2024 by Kathleen London—owner of London Beauty. At small Gilmore Girls themed party hosted by Kathleen, Laura Boote, a local content creator popped in and the two instantly bonded over their shared love for the iconic show.

What began as a passionate conversation turned into something magical: the first-ever event to fully transform an entire town into something resembling the beloved, fictional TV small towns of the early 2000's. Wanting to emphasize shopping local and engaging in your own local Main Streets, Destination Stars Hollow started a trend. In its very first year, the event went viral—welcoming over 40,000 enthusiastic fans & shoppers from near and far. By year 2, cast members were interested in coming to the event and it once again grew.

This free immersive weekend experience sprinkles a little fairy dust on reality, letting visitors imagine life as a resident in their favorite TV show. Participating businesses join in the fun with exclusive merchandise, delicious themed treats, adorable photo ops, and so much more. Cast members meet and greet fans while the shopping and dining continues.

Each year brings new, exciting town-wide events—like an Easter egg hunt, a knit-a-thon, trivia and a classic dance marathon—adding fresh charm and nostalgia to every visit.
