DSH began with a unique idea and a little Main Street magic.

In 2024, Kathleen London, owner of London Beauty, imagined an experience that would bring the charm, nostalgia, and community spirit of a beloved fictional small town into the real world. At a small fan themed gathering she hosted, Kathleen met local content creator Laura Boote. Their shared enthusiasm helped spark the conversations that would bring Kathleen’s vision to life.

That vision became DSH: an immersive festival built around shopping local, exploring Main Street, and giving visitors a reason to step inside independently owned shops and restaurants. In its first year, the free event welcomed more than 40,000 fans and shoppers from near and far. Its second year brought special guest appearances and an experience that continued to grow.

Anne Adams joined Kathleen for the 2026 festival, bringing her own ideas, energy, and love of immersive experiences and a certain iconic small town. Together, they expanded the vision while keeping local businesses at the heart of it.

Today, DSH is a small events company owned and led by Kathleen London and Anne Adams both Brighton residents. From the creative concepts to the programming and thoughtful details, we dream up, produce, and host the DSH experience. Our participating local businesses partner with us to bring that vision to life, adding their own offerings and hospitality to the experiences we create.

The result is a weekend filled with themed treats, photo opportunities, special guests, shopping, dining, and nostalgic town traditions. A little fairy dust on reality, with a real community at its center.

And our imagination doesn’t stop at one town.

We would love to help other communities create memorable events of their own. Through creative planning, event production, and partnerships with local businesses, we build experiences that celebrate a town’s personality, draw visitors to its Main Street, and give people a reason to return.
